Based in Worcester, songwriter and vocalist Darren plays guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, keyboards and harmonica. He took up guitar in 1978 and has been active on the music scene since 1979.

Throughout the 1980's/1990's Darren was lead guitarist/vocalist with covers bands The Stingrays, Night Shift, Blue Movers, Southern Pride and Three Penny Bit as well as originals outfit One World.

Since 2000 Darren has worked, at ffg Studios, Bredon, Nr. Tewksbury, as a session musician and played on album projects with Dave Berry ('The Crying Game', 'Little Things' etc.), Brian Poole ('Do You Love Me' and 'Twist And Shout') as well as ill-fated female vocal group Gemini (of notorious Eurovision failure fame) and late in 2005 he completed a session playing two tracks on Bouzouki for a Hollywood film company.

Darren is quite fanatical about the different sounds of guitars so he uses only authentic models to get the right sound.
